love the weather

I spent most of yesterday sleeping and doing nothing, because.. jh forgot all abt me going out with her and ly. :(

Oh, I finally got to meet up with kenny. Wahaha. I'm surprised that he actually agreed to meet me! It's a pity darling #1 couldn't make it.

I woke up at noon today. Love, love, love the weather. It's a luxury to be lazing in bed, not doing anything, not thinking abt anything.

Going to stayover at sining's place tonight. Then it'll be a whole day of reading at starbucks on thurs before going for a movie with the girls in the evening. :D

holidays

The holidays are finally here! After my last paper (yesterday), i met up with sining and pauline for lunch at (i-don't-know-the-name-of-the-restaurant) where we had a semi-buffet lunch. There was a free flow of salad, soup, desserts, coffee and tea. The creamy pasta that i had was too dry for my liking, so i didn't finish it. Sining said the cakes at the salad bar was nice though. And guess what? The cakes were from breadtalk. Haha. Quite sad eh? That the only thing that is nice didn't even come from the place.

Went to starbucks after lunch and had a nice "sharing session". After which, we headed to cine to watch the second half of the s'pore vs myanmar soccer match.

Bumped into jiahui in town and we arranged to meet today, details not known yet. Waiting for her to msg me. Hmpff.

Starbucks sells nice christmas mugs. I should write out my christmas-cum-birthday wish list soon. Haha.

5 days to first paper

Met darling #1 for dinner tonight after a long day of studying in school. Just wanna say that Darling #1 is such a darling! *duh, darling #1 wouldn't be DARLING #1, otherwise*

I wish the exams were tmr. If that's the case, i be out of this misery. No time to study, no time to panick.

I can't stand the arrogant medicine students i saw in school today. There was this group of medicine students sitting at the next table to mine and we were helping this uncle fill up a survey form on AIDS/HIV. And they were using all the "chim" medical terms, laughing at the ridiculous suggested ways through which AIDS can spread and acting as if they were the only ones who know abt AIDS/HIV. *roll eyes*

Anyway, i'm not saying that all medicine students are arrogant. Haha. No offence, El (if u're reading this). :) It's just a few of them. Grr.

I burst a pimple today, with all the pus oozing out. *eeks* Ya, itchy fingers. (1: to touch my face 2: to type this useless piece of information on my blog.)

I'm feeling happy today. Was supposed to watch movie with hao and eugene but when we reached the cinema, we were too late to catch any 7pm shows and the next show is pretty late, so we decided to head to esplanade for dinner. :)

Christmas is coming in two month's time and the christmas decorations are up already! *i feel it in my fingers, i feel it in my toes* woohoo! The spirit of christmas!

14) family gathering when enya, aunt cindy and uncle chade meng comes back for a visit

ping wishes she was studying in the states

I'm down with diahorrea. Woke up at 3am with a bad stomachache and have been visiting the loo since...

I wish i was studying in the states. Did some research on the net on various US universities yesterday. Hmm, PhD in neurobiology or neurosciences sound interesting. Prof Ip thinks they're going to be the hot topics in the near future. There are so many things abt the brain that's unknown still.

For now, i better stick to memorising my metabolic pathways in preparation for my test on tues.
