Here's a picture of the prawns that me and fred caught. His is the slightly bigger one at the bottom and mine's the smaller one at the top.

The sizes of the prawns seem to have shrunk significantly after my dad cooked them. Boo.

I went prawn fishing with fred last night. Prawn fishing is super fun! You guys should go try it someday. Think i'll be going again next weekend. Enjoy the novelty while it lasts?

Fred and I rented a rod for an hour and guess how many prawns we caught? Two. Haha. Well, at least we caught something! Not bad for beginners already, right? :)

I let 3 prawns get away with my bait. Boohoo. And fred let 2 get away. So, by right, if we had gotten them all, we would have caught 7!

Fred caught the first prawn. It was quite big and had a pincer! A long, blue pincer. Eeks. It tried to get at fred while he was struggling to unhook the prawn from the fishing line. Fred den stepped on its pincer so it couldn't wave it about anymore. Haha. We should have just yanked the pincer off. Then the prawn would be pincer-less!

My prawn was smaller than the prawn that fred caught, but still bigger than the usual prawn that you get in hokkien mee. My prawn was less menacing looking, at least it didn't have any long, blue pincers. I caught my prawn during the last 5 min of our rental hour and I was thrilled beyond words! How lucky!

stress

It's the time of the sem where i'm feeling very stressed up again.

I seem to be getting nowhere in my essay writing. Been sitting in the com for a long time yesterday and i've yet to start on my essay proper.

Project meeting has been postponed. *sigh* I want to get everything over and done with ASAP. But I can't do that! :(

I was supposed to go see prof poh today but i told her i can't cos of the project meeting. Think i'll give her a call later to see if i can drop by, since the meeting has been postponed.

Oh, the interview at MOM wasn't like an interview at all. It was just me and the manager (who's in charge of the project), sitting in a room and having kind of an informal chat.

And I've got a letter from MOE, telling me that I've been offered contract teaching, starting in Jul this year. I'll be doing my honours year, so I can't possible go and be a contract teacher for one to one and a half years. Oh well... No news yet abt the teaching award. I've already sent out an email to MOE, and waiting for their reply.

I want a get-away holiday, now. Speaking of holidays, I want to go to so many places.

I bought another dress today! At only $24.50! So happy! This is the 4th dress that i bought in less than a month. Oops.

Oh, and I'll be going for another interview next week for an internship with MOM. Hmm, I applied for 2 projects under MOM and i'm not sure which project is the one that i'm being interviewed for. *hmm*

I've yet to get a reply from MOE. Hmpff.
