Just got home from another of fred's family gathering. I felt so... out of place. *sigh* I don't know how to make small talk, don't know how to entertain people, don't know what to do, how to help out and everywhere i turn, there are people! :(

I was studying in the library yesterday when there was this woman who came up to me and asked if she could borrow my eraser. I lent it to her and so, she sat down at the table next to mine and started to erase some markings in her textbook. 5 min later, she was still erasing some markings in the textbook... It seems like she's going to erase the markings off the ENTIRE book, WITH MY ERASER! :S After 10 min, she still didn't seem like she was going to stop erasing and I so, badly wanted my eraser back! So, I packed up my stuff and told her that I was leaving (the library) already. She returned me my eraser and then... ... I WENT TO THE 2ND LEVEL OF THE LIBRARY AND CONTINUED MUGGING THERE! Haha. -_-'''

Happy CNY everybody!

This new year is a pretty boring one to me. Mum and sis are away in msia, leaving me at home with dad and grandma. I've been trying to do up my microb lab report and I've no idea how to work out the calculations! Argh! I've got a negative value for something that's not supposed to be negative! :S

Anyway, i'll be visiting fred and his family tmr! That's something for me to look forward to!

I noticed a letter from MOE lying on my desk this morning.

I've been shortlisted for an interview on V day, which is in 3 days time.

I'm scared of interviews! No, no, terrified's more of the word. :S

Shall see how everything goes. I've yet to tell unlce meng that i've applied for a teaching position already and most prob not going to take up his offer.

I don't feel that I'm cut out to do research work at all. One year of research work waiting for me, come august, though. Sigh.

Oh, I went for the immunology and microbiology research projects road show in school yesterday. Some of the projects seem rather interesting, in particular those dealing with EV71. Dr Tan's lab seems like a good place to work in too. Might have to start emailing the profs soon. Honours project shopping! Haha.

Not going on a shopping spree though. :P

retail therapy rocks!

I bought THREE dresses in ONE day!!! :D Terribly happy with my buys though. Went shopping with eve and xy at bugis in the afternoon after class and bought 2 of the dresses.

Then fred came after he knocked off from work and he bought me another dress! I was planning to wear that dress to fred's place for CNY... but... my mum thinks that the dress is too short! Boohoo. How? How?

Maybe I should wear the dress out on sat to seek the girls' opinions? Hee. (But then it won't be "new" if I wear it for CNY, right? Hmm.)
