shopping again!

Bought another 2 tops today! Hee. Yen was having a sale at Novena Square. Was there shopping with mum when i saw the sale. S-A-L-E!!!!!! Bought a white top and a striped shirt at $9 each! *yipee*

After that, went to meet zen so i could bring him to nus. We were supposed to help cindy move all her stuff in hall back home. We were early by the time we got to nus so we went to sci fac canteen. Drank holicks there... Haven't drank holicks in a long time. Zen claimed that he haven't drank it in ten years. Haha. Hmm, took a cab back to cindy's house and ate western food at the coffee shop near her place. Had fish and chips. The food was pretty delicious.

Going to NTU to stay over at sining's hall tmr! yay! She'll be helping me to dye my hair! Looking forward to it!!!!!

retail therapy

I fell asleep at 9.30pm last night. Whoa~ can't believe it. Was reading my Sophocles book when i felt so sleepy... So off to bed, i went. Was late for the teachers' prayer meeting in church this morning. Couldn't wake up on time. Actually, i did wake up early... but i drifted off to sleep again. Oh well~

This girl from children church spotted my bright round earrings and asked me a question that went... "teacher, are u wearing THUMBTACKS?" haha. No, i'm not! Though i admit, they do look a little like thumbtacks.

Went to town with sining today. Bought a pair of white ballerina-look-alike shoes at $19.90 from far east and oh, a GREEN zara top at $16.90! Yay! lalalala~ Feeling on top of the world now. So, retail therapy does work. :)

YES! YES! YES! The exams are finally over~ *phew* Had my govt n politics paper this morning. Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. :) But, well, I just need a C, don't have to do that well for that module. Heh. What's more important is, THE EXAMS ARE ALL OVER!!!!!! Wahahaha! Ok, i'm a little hysterical right now... Overwhelmed by the fact that I'm free from the cluthes of my notes and textbooks... *grinz*

After my paper, went to bugis with lee ling for lunch at foodcourt. Walked around for a while before i headed off to my church office for teens. Led worship together with noah, and, oh, today's Joshua's turn at preaching. Whoa~ I'm impressed by the way he preached... A real dynamic speaker, i would say... Full of God's annointing.

Stayed back in church office for a little while after teens to watch the people perform the skit that they're going to put up for Christmas. Quite a simple piece, but still, wonderfully put together by JianYen... Some parts were hilarious!!! (excluding the part where the soundman screwed up... forgot to turn on the switch and no sound came out from the speakers...)

Took the train home with Cher Ying... She's an adorable kid. Always so naive, trusting and innocent... I think those are the reasons why kids are cute, aren't they?

Went out with cindy today to study... Met at 12pm for lunch at raffles city foodcourt. Had chicken chop, and the cashier wasn't exactly very polite. The food tastes alright, though. Read through some of the readings in the course pack... They're so boring, i could fall asleep just staring at the title. *oops* The only thing that kept me awake was the question "what are we having for dinner?" posed by my dearest friend, cindy. Haha. The question reapeats itself every half-an-hr and we named almost every single eatery that can be found in the cityhall area. Settled on a few places, namely: 1) pastamania 2)foodcourt 3) subway.

Studied till about 6p.m. when kr and zen came to join us for dinner. Walked to suntec food court (yes, we settled on option 2) and after dinner, had coffee at pac coffee. Had vanilla expresso chillino (that's quite a mouthful, isn't it? haha.) that i found a tad too sweet. Oh, pac coffee has nice, comfy sofa seats! Zen and I took the sofa seats while kr and cindy took the non-sofa. Hmm, was talking to kr abt how i think i'm going to end up single for the rest of my life and he said that he thinks everyone is part of a jig-saw puzzle and there'll always be this other half that will fit u exactly. It's just that we don't know where the other missing piece is. He/she might be at the other end of the world. But still, that person is out there somewhere. Kr just got back from aust. on tues. It was nice meeting up again... Haha, not that it's not nice to meet up with cindy and zen, but we meet up pretty often. More often than i get to meet up with kr, anywayz.

Went to watch "the incredibles" yesterday. My very first movie that i watched alone. The experience wasn't too bad, though. I used to think that watching movies alone is such a sad thing to do. "the incredibles" is a nice show. Enjoyed watching it. Made me wish i had some super powers too. Haha. *incredible Hweeping saves the world* Now, how does that sound? :P

Christmas is coming! In just a month's time! *yipee* Time to go christmas shopping again. Buying gifts and christmas cards... I LOVE CHRISTMAS! and it's not just because *ahem* my birthday falls during the christmas season... hahahhahaha. There's always this magical feeling in the air during the season... Just take a walk along orchard road, such a pretty sight. All the lights, christmas carols, christmas trees... complete with artificial snow. "Christmas in the tropics", eh? have to make do with man-made snow made of soap bubbles. Oh, i wanna watch all the christmassy movies at the cinema. First up, there's "polar express" and then, "christmas with the kranks". Anyone game to join me? *grinz*

Was talking to jh on msn yesterday, discussing the things that we wanna do after our papers. Oh, we decided on having a sports-mania kind of thing where we go and swim, play squash and run... all on the SAME day! *woohoo* Oh, talking abt running, i must go run at kent ridge park again with el. Conquer the killer slope. All the way to the top of the hill. It's quite bad on the knees actually, on our way down. Can hardly control the pace at which i'm going. It's such a steep slope. If someone were on roller blades, or wheelchair, they would have crashed into the barriers. We should go in the morning, take in the fresh air and greenery. The last time we went, it was quite late in the evening and the park was quite deserted. I wouldn't have gone there if i was alone. *shudders* but it was a gd run overall... I'm sure el would agree. =) Haha. Going to run at ECP with zs one of these days after my paper. He gotta train for his IPPT and I'm going to be his coach! hahahha. He said he's going to look for potabo while we're back in vj... and i told him, he can go alone. I shall wait for him in the pe dept. Eeeeee, potabo.

argh-y-like-this

A little something on the process whereby i tried to get this blog up and going. Firstly, i needed to get the blog address for u pple to access my blog. Took me a long time to think of something. Yes, i ain't exactly a creative and original person. To my horror, it was rejected. So i had to think of another one, and another one, and another one... Until i finally settled on this current address. heh.

4 of my exam papers are over!!! Yipee! *does a somersault in the air* Wait a min, no, i can't do somersaults, but hey, anything is possible here in the cyberspace. Oh well... Got another paper on saturday for my ss module. I haven't got a clue on how to study for it. Heh. Maybe i should just not study and go for the paper. Afterall, there are not much things going on in the political scene of Singapore and throughout all the lectures that i've been to for this module, the lecturer kept asking questions and not once provided the answers to the questions that he posed. So, does that mean i can throw back the questions at my marker during my paper? Ha. Perhaps. If i really can't think of anything to write.
