eve of new yr's eve

When i say i have no plans for the day, something always pops up.

I ended up playing tennis with junhao and eugene on wednesday, instead of squash. So, I had something to do afterall.

And today, i went to cindy's place to watch "the nightmare before christmas" and "love actually" when i thought i will spend my day reading up notes and my textbook. Such christmassy shows when christmas is already over. :S

There goes my plan for squash today. The girls are already at the squash courts and i'm still sitting at home right now. There's a change of timing and i'm too late to rush down in time. :(

The weather looks good today. Perhaps i'll go for a swim. *perhaps perhaps perhaps*

It seems like everybody has got activities on today. Except for me. Boohoo.

Just got home from dinner at 'no signboard seafood'. I love eating crabs. Can't eat too much of it though, keep a watch (pun intended?) on cholesterol levels.

My feet are itching like mad. I have, like more than 10 mosquito bites on one foot. Argh. They look a little like chicken pox to me. But, they're not. Cos i have no signs of fever, and they're only found on my feet, not any where else on my body and i had chicken pox before. :P I swear i'm going to wear covered footwear when i go to mosquito infested areas. Long sleeved and long pants too. Bleah.

I hope everyone had a happy christmas.

The Msisters dinner was great. Ate till i was so bloated and full. Shepherd's pie, salad, mashed potatoes, roast chicken, bars (is it spelt like this?) baked by pauline for dessert. Singing christmas songs in the living room and exchanging presents. So glad that i'm part of this big family. A big thank you to sining who organised the dinner. And to all the other sisters who helped out. So sorry that i couldn't make it earlier to help with the food preparations and everything.

I took a picture of most of my presents. (All of my presents actually, except for 2 hamsters which i gave away cos i can't commit myself to take care of them, a book which xy took back to change cos i don't really like jonathon coe and a bag given to me by cindy and zen cos it kept flopping over when i was trying to take the picture.)

I'm starting to love products by crabtree and evelyn. I've got shower gel given to me by prey. (try spotting it in the picture above. It's 2nd row 1st on the left.) I used it last night, love the scent of it. I smell so nice, come smell me! Haha. I shall look forward to bathing everday just so i can use te shower gel. :) Doris gave me stuff from crabtree & evelyn too. Soap, conditioning shampoo and body lotion. They smell great too. Even though i haven't used them.

And a picture of me and my sister taken when i got home after my haircut, a few days ago. The haircut is supposed to be a birthday cum christmas present to myself. Haha. Do we look alike, my sister and i? ;) (Quick, u're supposed to say i look prettier. Haha.)

Looking forward to new year's eve now. And chinese new year, in about a month's time? Yay! I'm listening to CNY songs on the radio now. So weird. Haha. I'm still in a christmassy mood.

Met up with ting and mandy at eleven for brunch. Poor addy's not feeling well enough to meet us. Meeting her tmr to pass her xmas cards and to get my present! :D

Met cindy, zen and darling #1 for coffee after that followed by dinner and catching Narnia at suntec. *wheeee* Think the movie's great!

Got my first bouquet of flowers from darling #1 (after much hinting, prompting, sulking and complaining). Guys can be soooo insensitive sometimes. And, according to kr, women can be sooooo demanding sometimes.

I'm off to bed early tonight. Tmr's another long day. *grinz*

Yay! Had a haircut today. This time, it's not as short as the previous but it can still be styled. :)

A big thank you to junhao for the presents. Love the grand piano musical box. (My cousins love it too. They played with it when i got home.) Got to buy ink for the pen though.

Finally found a present for darling #1. After walking orchard rd up and down a couple of times. Up and down the same building too. :(

I hate shopping for guys.

But, hey, it's a happy day.

I'll be going to a funeral later. This church auntie's son collapsed and died in his office a few days ago. Most probably due to a heart attack.

I feel like wearing my new skirt out today. But it's kinda weird, dressing up for a funeral.

I think i'll stick to my tshirt and jeans.

I'm halfway through the book by Paulo Coelho. It's not a bad book, i would say.

I heard the news yesterday via msn. I was shocked. It reminded me of the time when i got the bad news 2 years ago. I don't know how bad her condition is, though. I just hope that things will turn out fine and yea, she'll get well soon.

Going to the hospital to visit ah gu ah bo tmr. Haven't visited shi kai's dad in quite a long time too.

I should find time to go visit soon.
