eye infection

i've got an eye infection! ARGH. WHY CAN'T BACTERIA AND VIRUSES LEAVE ME ALONE?!?!?!?! BLEAH.

Applied my cousin's eye medicine, cos he's got an eye infection too. I hope it gets better in tmr morning.

Met william the dentist for dinner yesterday. He's got an eye infection too. EVERYBODY'S GETTING EYE INFECTIONS!

I was studying with eugene and his church friends yesterday. Talked to one of his friends who's a year 3 life sci student and i mentioned that I was planning to do a project under dr A.

Upon hearing his name, she looked a bit shocked and said he took her for a module and that she's scared of him.

I didn't have time to ask her more abt why she was scared of him cos she had to go off.

Now, i'm starting to get apprehensive about working in his lab. :(

Scheduled a meeting with him tmr to discuss more about the project.

i hate falling sick

I was studying with ai in sch yesterday when i've got diahorrea. Didn't eat much of dinner and took a cab home. After i got home, i went to the clinic near my place to see the doc for my diahorrea cos it was getting quite bad. There was no fever, nor vomiting, nor stomachache when i saw the doctor at the clinic.

Shortly after i got home, all the symptoms that i didn't have, appeared. Diahorrea+ vomitting+ stomachache+ high fever. Mum took me to TTSH at ard 11.30pm.

Waited for one to two hours to see a doctor at the hospital. Doc gave me two injections to stop the vomitting and put me on drip. Got home at 3am.

I'm feeling better today. Not completely well, though.

Think i've got to rest early. Studying will have to wait till i get well.

Dr A complimented me today during the meeting and offered me a UROPS project in his lab next sem. *yippee* That certainly made my day.

I think i'm going to accept it. Will meet him for further discussions next wk when i hand in my lab report.

Got back 2 papers today(geog and anthropology) and a geog assignment. Got an A for the geog paper. :)

I'm tired. Too much happiness in one day.

7 days a week

I'm in school 7 days a week. I thought going back to school on a saturday is bad enough... and now, my sunday is burnt in school as well. :(

Reached YIH at around 10.30am only to find no one there and the peeps are all in engine macs. So it's a walk to engine all the way from the bus stop along AYE to YIH and then to engine. Excercise, exercise. See, I do exercise, u know.

Started on the project at 11+am till 9+pm. My brain cells are undergoing apoptosis!

On our way to the bus stop, i spotted a snail on one of the steps and i warned the rest of the pple not to step on the snail. As soon as i said that, I heard a "crunch". Oops. Daniel stepped on it. Poor snail. Just when it thought it was safe after i stepped over it... ...

Darling #1 is on leave today! *yippee* Gonna meet him for lunch and perhaps get a haircut. I can't stand my hair! Grr. I know I said i'm going to leave it long this time round. Oops. I did it again. Given in to the temptation of a haircut. Hee.

Going to the dessert shop at bugis later. Had almond cream the last time round. It was delicious! Hmm, what shall I have later? Green bean soup with seaweed? Haha. Sounds really "green". Eeks. I didn't make it up. It's really on the menu!

Time to start mugging. There are so many things to do, I don't even where to start. :(

hell week

A quick update.

I'll be leaving for hongkong on 27th may and back on 4th june. Visiting hongkong, shenzhen and macau.

After which, i'll be off on 8th june doing the US tour and back on 8th july.

This week is a hell of a week.

1 lab report, 1 project due next week and 2 tests consecutively. One on friday, the other on a sat.

Of all days, they just had to put the stupid test on this saturday. :(

Exams are coming! Hao was thinking of having a mugging camp at eugene's place. Whee! Mug, mug, mug, non-stop!

I'll looking forward to after the exams.
