ping is a happy girl today

Had a long day out with darling today.

Played badminton for 2 hrs in tampines safra (of which i got bored, after abt an hour)... Had lunch in bedok, after which we headed to arab street and kampong glam to shop ard. I bought a rattan bag there. Hee.

After shopping, darling brought me to colbar cafe for dinner. I had "chicken merry land" while he ordered "fish and chips". The fish and chips looked kind of pathetic next to my order. Oops. Shall try the chicken cury there next time if I visit the place again. It's a little inaccessible. Had to walk quite a bit from the bus stop that we alighted at.

Darling bought me the maroon-yellow bag that I had my eye upon. *whee* 2 new bags in a day! =D

sadist?

I did my first animal dissection today during immunology lab. It was on a small white mouse. I had to cut it up and extract the spleen and thymus, mash them up and do some tests on them.

The mouse looked so cute and i felt bad abt having to pin it down before i cut it open. The operation was pretty clean, but, of cos, I didn't sew the mouse back. I just threw it into the "biohazard" bin where the carcasses were supposed to go after the experiment finished.

The dissection was not too bad, kinda fun, actually. Oops.

Had dinner with the girls in holland V ( dumpling hor fun) before heading to wala wala.

fried mars bar and ice cream

met zen today at cityhall. Tried the fried mars bar that I had wanted to try for quite some time. Sat down and shared a drink at MIX. Walked around in Carrefour and i bought a badminton racket. Dinner at the foodcourt and met kelvin for ben&jerry's ice cream. =)

badminton and movie

Badminton yesterday was pretty good. Except for the sucky timing of 1-3pm. Hardly played for an hour before my stomach started grumbling... Didn't really feel like moving after that cos my blood glucose was really dropping, i think. Felt much better after dear got me some fishballs and 100plus.

Went to great world city after badminton to catch a movie--- "my super ex-girlfriend". A super lame and funny show, i would say. Had dinner at country manna. The food's not bad. Caught a bit of the fireworks from the overhead bridge outside great world city after the show, when we were on the way home. A happy ending to the day out with fred. =)

School's starting next week. I need to get cheap printer ink for my printer, either that, or i have to go learn how to set up the new scanner-printer that dad bought quite some time back. :(
